Floë comes with a 15mm tee, to fit to typical domestic 15mm copper or plastic water pipes.  However, many sites use larger diameter blue or black MDPE/alkathene to supply the water.  In 99% of cases, this will reduce down to 15mm, just before the caravan or lodge and this is where you can fit Floë, but, just in case it doesn’t, or its too inconvenient to reach, you may need to make a little conversion using these two reducers.

They enable you to reduce 20-22mm alkathene down to 15mm for about six inches (15cm) to fit Floë’s airline tee.  Then enlarge back up to the alkathene again.  You may think that this will reduce the flow of the water, but there is only a tiny difference in the internal diameter of both pipes, which will not affect the flow.

There are many different types to choose from and many use brass connections that require olives, wrenches and brute strength etc but, we have found one that is really easy to fit.  Its a very simple twist and lock on the larger end and a simple push fit on the 15mm end.  We also provide you with a little length of 7 cm 15mm pipework in each reducer.

To fit, all you simply do is find the right spot on the caravan side of the stopcock and cut the alkathene pipe, with a pair of pipe cutters or secateurs.  Once cut, simply fit the reducers to each end of the pipe, tighten them up and that’s it, you are now ready to simply push fit the smaller ends into Floë’s tee.
